Blow Up last night was extremely amazing.
Collin met up with us downtown, we bought some chaser, then we went to Fell street and sat on some stairs with our drank getting buzzed before we all BLEW UP.
We got in pretty early, around 10.
We didn't stop dancing until 1:30.
It was beautiful.
I lost myself in everything that was happening.
we were dancing on tables.
we were dancing on stage.
we were dancing on pianos.
I just kept dancing because I don't think I could have stopped if I had wanted to.
I lost my mind, but it slowly came back to me on the walk home.
Cassie and I took two buses, didn't want to wait for the third, and walked a little over two miles to my house.
we stopped at 7eleven on the way home for the obligatory 2:30 a.m. funyuns and pretzels.
one of the best nights I've had in San Francisco, and I've had a lot of good nights.
we woke up around 11 this morning to go downtown to Whole Foods for some groceries.
it was a really nice little shopping trip.
it started to rain on our way home, and by the time I got to the 29 bus stop, it was pouring and the wind cut straight through the little clothing I was wearing.
But if you kind of turn yourself into wind, it doesn't phase you.
you have to admit that yes, it's cold, but you ARE cold, and it stops being unpleasant.
it sounds so silly, but you have to become one with the cold and the wind.
the wind is so fantastic the way it moves everything.
and the cold can make you feel intensely every part of yourself, or it can make it so you barely feel at all.
it might not be the most wonderful feeling,
but cold is still a feeling,
and I'm thankful for any feelings I get to have.
plus, the cold made my bedroom seem that much more inviting and lovely.
mmmcold.
