I gotta get a belly full of wine..

Today I was late to class for the most ridiculous reason.
Usually I'm late to things because I can't help but spend way too much time dancing around my room.
But today was just plain silly.

I had one hell of a dream in the wee hours of this morning.
I dreamt that I was being spoken to by some kind of goddess or priestess.
She was telling me all of her prophecies, most of them being really important and relevant to our changing world.

But the only one I could remember at five this morning, when I briefly awoke, was the one in which she told me that it was absolutely necessary for me to disarm all of my alarms. The consequences of not obeying her would be dire.

And so, sometime around five this morning, I haphazardly turned off all of my alarms.

I woke up at 9.
I was supposed to be in class at 9:30.
it takes me 20 minutes to walk to school due to blip in the space-time continuum between my house and my classroom.

faaaaaaaaaack.

I make it to class alright, though, because I sacrificed my morning shower.
I came home in between classes to change and shower.
But I decided not to go to my next class.

Instead, I called Cassie and we decided to go to Dolores park and "chill."
We picked up some magnificent burritos and headed out.
It was a beautiful day today.
You can see the whole city from the top of the park.
we watched some crazy dogs, some pretentious hipsters, and a cat on a leash.
And then the sun started to go down, San Francisco started to get cold, and we started to go home.

I was feeling very in love with everything on the planet.
Every little dog, child, and cat on a leash was the most adorable thing I had ever seen.
Cassie thought I was insane.

I blame it on my iPod.
I was listening to the Beatles exclusively today, and they fill me with such adoration for life.

We made an impromptu trip to Olive Garden for some bread sticks(ambrosia on earth), and we stopped to smoke in the bushes in front of SFSU on our way.

Dinner was filled with.. paranoia.
But we walked away fat, sassy, and still somewhat high.

A wonderful day in the life of yours, truly.
